clean dog and blue yarn
The blue yarn that I dyed Thursday night is finally dry! I thought it would never be done - you can see how I laid it out over the bathtub, well, I moved it to hangers in the laundry room which took out the last of the moisture. Here it is posing near the ficus - it's a little cloudy today and I was trying unsuccessfully to get some natural light. This is two skeins of Henry's Attic Casino II cotton/rayon yarn, dyed with cobalt blue. I like the way it came out variegated, and it really has a lovely shine to it.
My mom's friend Pat is a lovely woman who was blessed with 3 boys. Her boys have only given her grandbaby boys - until now! In January she got baby Sophie, yea for Pat! I'm sending mom this little set for the baby that I made a while back out of Sugar & Cream cotton. How cute are baby clothes?!
Finally, I would be a bad mom if I didn't post a picture of Beef. She went to the doggy salon this morning and doesn't she look beautiful? Smells a whole lot better, too.

My little Westie boys saw Beef and fell in love. They think her face looks like a Westie. Love the yarn

ha! She is a hot little number. You never know what you're going to get from the Pound. And thanks, I'm pretty happy with the way the yarns turned out. :o)
